Obtain Microsoft Certificate to Eliminate 'Unknown Publisher' message

I need to have someone go through the paperwork and process to get my company a digital signature or what we need to get rid of the "Unknown Publisher" warning. Once we have this, I need a process (perhaps a batch file) which will take our executables and have the digital signature (or whatever is required) added. This must work on Win XP, Vista and 7.
