Greetings! I am a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Thermal Hydraulics, CFD and Industrial Equipment Installation. I have done projects that include Design of Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger, Design of Plate Type Heat Exchanger, Design of Helical Coil Steam Generator, Design of Cyclone Separator and Transient Heat Analysis of a Vessel, Design of HAVC, Gasification system etc.
I can use both SolidWorks and ANSYS Fluent for CFD. I have done projects that include CFD of Cyclone Separator, CFD of vertical axis wind turbine to optimize TSR, CFD of jet engine compressor for recovery of wake region, Design of wing to optimize lift, etc.
I am proficient with commonly used engineering codes and standards such as, ASME B31, ASME BPVC, ASME B16, API 620, API 650, API 576 and AISC-360. Regarding the project posted, ASME B31 code is applicable for industrial piping (covering pressure piping, process piping, refrigerant piping, gas transmission & distribution piping and piping relevant to power plant.)
