We are using Porto Theme for Wordpress which has a built in WPBakery Page Builder Widget to display popular products, products at discount and so on. We would like to modify that widget so it allows to filter and display products from a certain category of products, for example T-Shirts. Right now it allows only to filter by product popularaty, date added and promoted products. After the Widget has been modified the modification should include the newly created filter option in addition to the existing ones inside the preexistent dropdown in the backend configuration of the widget. Since this widget is part of the Porto Template we need a way to prevent the modifications to be overwriten by template updates which happen from time to time or instructions how to modify the core files in order to reenable the added functionalaty. If you are bidding please make sure that you fully understand what we need. Idealy you are experianced Wordpress developer and have created your own plugins and widgets before. Once the project is awarded to you I will provide access (admin, ftp) to a clone which is identical to the live website. Thanks
