WP All Import modifications -- 2

Hi We're setting up WP All Import / WooCommerce for a client. They've requested several modifications, which we wont have time to work on ourself anytime soon. We're therefor looking for someone to help us develop these. Brief description of the product: We'll be receiving an XML feed from a third party. How the XML will look has not be completely finalised and we can ask them to adjust according to our needs. We need to modify WP All Import, so that it enables us to do the following: - Easily control which products are imported, based on enabling/disabling categories. This could be done by displaying a list of possible product categories, and then being able to deselect product categories that we dont want imported. The end product will be used by several different WP installations, and they need an easy way of selecting which categories they want to import. The scenario might be that the feed has a category structure like so: Bikes - Mountain bikes - Road Bikes - City Bikes Clothes - Shirts - Dresses - Jeans Shoes - Boots - Sneakers - Running shoes One end user might want to import only City Bikes and Boots, while another might want to import everything but Dresses. I'm thinking we'll need some sort of interface for selecting which categories of products to import. - On each product: Specify that some fields should be updated by the field, while others shouldnt. This could be done through adding a checkmark field on the product such as "Use feed" next to the fields where it needs to be possible. Products will be imported from the feed every night. Some end users might want to improve or change the data that comes from the feed, and they therefor need a way of defining that this specific field shouldnt be upgraded by the feed anymore. Here's an example: Here's a simple sample product: Name: City Bike Description: Great city bike Price: 200$ Stock: 58 An end user might want to change the description from "Great city bike" to something a bit more elaborate. With the current features of WP all import, there's no way of specifying that the description for this product specifically shouldnt be updated, while the description of other products in general should. We need to allow the end user to mark when fields should no longer be updated by the field. I figured a checkbox could be added next to each field, and WP All import could then be modified to only update the field based on the value of the checkbox. - The XML feed has PDFs attached to products. We need WooCommerce to handle this and and allow WP All import to import these. I suggest that we go through the details if you're interested.
