The task is to repair or remake a software that you can see here: [login to view URL] that was installed in a computer with touchscreen - users had access only to touchscreen with no buttons or keyboards. It had 2 basic functions: 1. users could take a picture with a webcam, choose between 3 frames and publish the picture on the clients facebook page. It isn't working and it seems facebook has discontinued this API. 2. users could choose a subject and watch some slides with text (text and pictures are separate). So, you can have the original program and try to make something of it, or just take the assets (fonts, texts, pictures...) and rebuild the whole thing. On the skills required I chose flash and javascript but there no requirement on the programming language used, it can be whatever is easier for you and works. This software should then come in 2 versions: one with the slides and the webcam feature and another just with the slides and no webcam feature - because there are 2 touchscreens and only 1 webcam. The touchscreens are embeded in the panels of a science exhibition. Timeline: I need this software by the 31st of October.

Hello, I am Actionscript 3.0 programmer working in Flash, Flex and Adobe Air. Please check my feedback and reviews for further reference. Regarding the project, I have read the project description carefully and seen the referred site as well. It was made in AS3( probably, AS2/AS3 and Flex). Yes, it is true, FB Graph ID has been updated and there is no update on the old Actionscript Graph API. However, there is another way to achieve that by using linear graph API's. I have done this before, so I know how it is done. I think, I will remake the application in AS3. Javascript is also good, but for KIOSK applications, AS3 as Flash or Adobe Air is much better.
