Looking for a step by step guide to hosting multiple domain names on a Windows 2003 within my network. I know how to setup websites in IIS and add www host names in DNS and have my ISP point to my DNS server, so I can get sites up and running, but that’s about it. If I try to use host headers for example that does not work. I want to host the domains without the need for additional IP addresses where necessary. I am running Windows 2003 & SBS 2003 on another server and want to set up domains of both or either one. I have a fixed external IP that I use and already have a domain sitting on it. I need a concise guide to setting up domains and sub-domains with SSL areas for example [[login to view URL]][1]and [login to view URL] [login to view URL] etc. How to add SSL to them How to setup FTP area such as [[login to view URL]][2]and allow anonymous access to some folders and restricted access to other areas/folders. I also need to know how to setup user access to the sites so I can modify the pages from anywhere using dreamweaver or frontpage for example. I want these instructions with screen dumps where possible and they should be concise so I can easily follow them. The sites will mainly contain ASP pages and some will have DNSless databases so I need instruction on how to configure the sites to use the database outwith the site directory. Any other useful info is also helpful. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
