I have a HUGE wordpress blog that runs into about 1.8 GB database size.
I need to know what the SETTINGS of the super cache plugin should be for me to update the blog as and when necessary without heading into speed bumps and high resource usage.
I have used the wp-super-cache plugin before on other blogs that are fully completed. So I use the preload feature and it works perfectly.
But for this blog I need to know some settings that would enable the blog to update itself also as well as the cache plugin to work PERFECTLY.
Here are my requirements and conditions:
1) The db is very large as I have mentioned above.
2) It has about 150,000+ posts.
3) I also update the blog manually by pushing about 10,000 posts every week.
4) I have tried using the preload feature but it runs into huge resource usage.
5) I have used cloudflare in the past but I don't wish to use it on this blog because I need the stats to be recorded perfectly.
6) I don't wish to minify CSS or JS because WPSC plugin can handle all that easily.
My main question. Given the above conditions, what should the settings of the super cache plugin be so that I may update the blog as and when necessary without essentially having to compromise resource usage or speed?
Please ask me any relevant questions necessary. I shall do my best to answer.
