Submit a pdf file with the answers to all questions listed at the end of Chapter 5 (ARPACI-DUSSEAU). Format the report as follows. For each question, list the question followed by the source code of the program you implemented to answer the question. In addition to the code, also add a screenshot of the output produced by the program or experiment. Please, organize the report in a way that code and answers can be easily read. Chapter5 link: [login to view URL]~remzi/OSTEP/[login to view URL] Assignment Overview: There are 8 questions/tasks. Some them do not actually ask a question or require a direct answer. All questions ask you to write a program. The questions are about practicing and experimenting with creating processes using the unix process API, i.e., fork(), exec(), wait(), and exit(). To write the programs, you will simply adapt the examples shown in Chapter 5. The actual source code for Chapter 5 is provided in the book's website. Processes have their own (virtual) memory address space. This space is not “seem” (or shared) by other processes. Processes are independent entities and their “execution schedule" is controlled by the OS scheduler. The assignment tries to give you some knowledge about what is really cloned when processes are created. Processes do not share their virtual address space by default. For processes to communicate (exchange significant amounts of data), they need to use inter-process communication methods (IPC). One IPC method is called a pipe. Question 8 asks you to write a program that “connects” two processes by a pipe. To answer Question 8, you need some extra programming knowledge that is not provided in Chapter 5. You will need to learn/research on how to create a pipe between two processes. Learn about pipe from the linux man pages. You can do that on your linux command line or just on the Web, i.e., Google "man pipe”. The result should be similar to the page show in the following link: [login to view URL]

I am very proficient in c and c++. I have 16 years c++ developing experience now, and have worked for more than 7 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, using c++ under Windows environment. I made many great projects using c++, for example, I made the tools which could convert java codes into c++ scripts, of course garbage collection included, this was very similar to a compiler, and was very complex. I also made our own mobile game using c++, I can show you the demo of client, if you like. I am very proficient in java also. I have a very good review on Freelancer.com, I never miss a project once I accept the job, you can check my review. Trust me, please let expert help you.
