I want a live stream site setup with a few features. The setup will have a user start the broadcast from their webcam/mobile phone and that data is sent to the server for two reasons, one to broadcast the stream and for VOD purposes. Some of the features should include detection of the users camera resolution as well as the option to change the resolution. Start / Stop broadcast as well as mute. Essentially Youtube/Twitch streaming but a simpler version for private use. Feel free to ask for more details in case there are some important points I did not cover in this brief. Please Note: - No existing or commercial products such as Wowza or Cloudflare streaming that I have no control [login to view URL] must be under my control. Easy to setup and deploy within my Infrastructure. - Please make comments in your wow so that either myself or someone else reviewing the code can follow along. Some Technical Information: - HTML/Javascript (Must have a compelling reason to use anything else) Not a professional on these subject and would like to hear from you. The technologies according to research would work best: - Mpeg-Dash / HLS for streaming (Must be over https) - Gstreamer I'm told is better for heavier workload over ffmpeg - Other aspects I may not be aware of when it comes to streaming

Dear Sir 10 year experience in this field and I recommend to use WOWZA or Ant media server for this job. I am not sure why did you say"NO" to wowza. When we install WOWZA or Ant media then its all ours.. we can do everything and we have full control over. We can start stop server and monitor our stream. The main point is , you want your customers to start stream from their browser and in this case we need webRTC feature. Let me know if we can discuss in detail and I can give you demo also.
