We need a Javascript/Ajax expert to provide a solution where each time a user “clicks” on different “links” on our 2,500 affiliate websites, specific information (account key, link key) about that click is passed to a Javascript function, that will take those parameters and pass them on to a Java Servlet located on a corporate server. We are not in control of the affiliate websites, so the solution needs to work on “links” that a user can click on such as <a href>, FORM Submit button, or a DHTML/JQuery menu link. Not every link on a web site will be monitored to see if it was clicked. Only links that an affiliate wants to monitor will have the JS code placed inside it. To be selected as a winner for the project bid, you must (1) convince us that you have read the attached requirements document, (2) explain that you understand the primary obstacle to overcome is how a browser is “too fast” to call a Javascript function before loading the page for the link that was clicked, and that you know how to overcome this situation, and (3) provide a general outline of how you would solve the problem.
