Introduction Environmental social impact company requires detail oriented front-end designer to help adjust the platform styling CSS3 to targeted aesthetic. For the right candidate this will become a long-term work contract with an innovative and impact driver global startup. Job Description Combine an eye for detail, a love of the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the sample UI/UX design to development site theme files. You will take the lead role for front-end stying and defining how the platform looks. Responsibilities - Discern and implement required CSS updates from sample into dev site. - Adjust HTML and/or visual page builder elements to match sample. - Ensure the technical feasibility of CSS changes. - Style new and/or improved user-facing features. - Build clean, reusable code for future use. - Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. - Collaborate promptly and effectively with other team members. - Maintain Wordpress child theme and change log. Skills And Qualifications - Expert in: CSS, CSS3, HTML5, Js, DevTools, Wordpress, WPBakery Page Builder (Js Visual Composer) - Expert in Wordpress design and development; and page builder plugins. - Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery - Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Preferences: - High test scores in CSS - Fluent (working proficiency minimum) in English Notes: - Our team collaborates on Trello; you shall as well. - A long term candidate will be required to sign an NDA. - We don't care when you work or where you are, as long as you provide quality results. - Add "I love Pandas" to the first line of your response so we know you read the entire posting.
