I work in a developer heavy environment and we don't have a graphic designer. I am looking for a visual exploration to redesign two pages on our web application. The aesthetic criteria are fairly simple:
1. This is a whitelabel solution, so there isn't really a 'brand' to speak of.
2. We are replatforming using bootstrap, so we want the designer to understand the core bootstrap elements that we'll be over-riding
3. We want to make the design 'clean, elegant, and uncluttered'. We like the trend toward flat design, but not too flat. Think Air BnB from an aesthetic standpoint.
The page design I would like an exploration of is a typical item listing page (ecommerce style) in grid and list format with a faceted navigation bar on the side, and a mechanism for introducing additional information through a slide out drawer.
I will provide screenshots and live links to the existing application, and some basic wireframe suggestions on the layout. I have attached a sample of what we're dealing with here.
Note that I am not looking for a 'final design' but some variations that help me to communicate alternatives to my superiors at work. This means that I may ask for tweaks to buttons and fine details, but that I won't expect a hundred versions of the page.
If all goes well, this could even turn into a regular/retainer style gig.
