Listing in DMOZ is no problem. You need to also provide a description for your website. Dmoz review and re-write thier own descriptions(that I can show you how to override and show the description YOU want in google listings)

I have been able to get my clients listed in DMOZ, how long it takes depends on a number of things, including the quality/content of the site being submitted and the backlog of other submission in the same category. I would need the url of your site to see if will will have a reasonable chance of being accepted into DMOZ before I make any guarantees.
