I need someone to help my optimize my HAProxy version 1.4.22. Everything is install and run smooth. But when I do a stress test, I have a hard time breaching 50 simultaneous users. First my web server start lagging at 2 to 3 seconds response rate but then HA proxy close it. So I got from slow to 0 in a matters of seconds. The job: - Help me optimized HaProxy - Help me optimized Apache if needed - Help me create rules so when he is about to shut everything down, he show a 'maintenance' page - And... if your king enough: create a rules that when and as long os our internal ping is higher then 900 ms, we stop accepting new user. Hi Anashel, HA Proxy is very stable and does not crashes on events. I suppose you have not set the connection parameters properly. Please provide more details like how many nodes are you using and their configuration. 2. HW Configuration of HA Proxy server 3. Which switch are you using for connectivity between HA and nodes (web server) 4. Also provide your Config file for HA server 5. In general times please also check the performance of your nodes and HA server, means how much CPU util, etc. Mostly it is that you may have not set the parameters properly, but it is also possible that you are using a very low configuration for your servers.
