statistical analysis help using R for experiment (linear mixed model ?)

I have a large set of data and I have been running a 2x2x2 repeated measures anova that looks a bit like this (x~V1*V2*V3 +Error(subject/(V1*V2*V3), data=df)). And I have some found interactions, but I am not sure how to interpret the data/run a post hoc (as TukeyHSD doesn't work). So I am not sure what else to do, or if I should run a linear mixed model). I have everything sorted in R so I would prefer to hire a consultant who uses R. I will want help with analysis choice and interpretation.
