SIP stands for 'Session Initiation Protocol'. We need to send xml messages via SIP Messages. The SIP wrap the xml. we need to send messages from our server to another server, and to recieve messages as well. no need to implement voice related things, only simple data. ptobably need to use one of the existing SIP clients sdk/open-source, and then it should be easy for you.
