Hi, I need software (in C, Simulink, ... anything that goes & is changeable afterwards) to flash on an embedded system (which I haven't purchased/designed yet). I know a lot of the basics but I'm still a student in electrical engineering. The system gets 1 analog input to turn the system on or off (it's 12 V) and 1 analog input (varying between 2 - 5 V). When the system's on it has to output 5 different signals continuously: 4 analog signals and 1 digital signal with a constant duty cycle (it may have an amplitude of 5 V, but 12-13 V would be better). 3 out of the 4 analog signals vary between 0 - 5 V. The other analog signal is a bit more complex, it has to be the signal of a crankshaft VR sensor (with 60 -2 teeth). It has an amplitude varying between -5 and 5 V, up to -12 to 12 V. It's frequency range varies between about 650-700 Hz up to 4 to 4,5 kHz. The output signals differ in frequency or value, depending on the given input signal. I think it would be easiest (and less epensive) if I purchase an already-made PCB with components instead of designing a new one. The board will be supplied with 12 VDC , but of course it's also possible to supply it with 5 VDC. If this concept works properly I will make more boards quite similar to this one, but with 7 output signals and the others a bit modified. So it would be best to preserve those extra signals already on my board/microcontroller and I'm also looking for software that's adjustable for me (in terms of delays for the outputs to change and to adjust to output signals). I also have images and scope data for the input/output signals. Thank you very much in advance, F.V.

Hi, i have already developed similar projects and sent to USA, you will require different oscillators with variable frequencies. i have 2 options to go for this. 1) using filters with microcontroller and converting square wave to sin wave, or to switch an oscillator. we can discuss it in more details. Please feel free to contact. Regards.

WOW! It seems that this project was posted by me... As I can program wide variety of controllers including low end (8051,PIC,AVR,MSP430) and high end ARM Cortex-M core based (STM8,STM32,Kinetis controllers by Freescale) etc etc... I am a professional R&D "Embedded Design Engineer" which has successfully completed many embedded projects and many of them are in progress... Have a look @ my short intro below: Electrical Engineer (Gold-Medalist) from the oldest and the most reputable engineering institute of Pakistan (UET, Lahore). Done my internship @ US based R&D embedded company “Mentor Graphics” and currently working as Professional “Embedded Design Engineer” @ Asia’s #1 ranked R&D company “MicroTech Industries”… Current Research Project: Currently researching on MSP430 and Cortex M4 cores in order to find a solution for robust way of “Remote Firmware Up-gradation”. This research project is intended to save time and money needed for manual firmware up-gradation. “MicroTech Industries” will be able to save millions of dollars per annum by having this feature embedded into its “Smart Energy Meters” Looking for your positive reply soon :)

Hi, I read you requirements. Because I have been working last years on similar project with ADC, DAC, PWMs, I would recommend you to first choose your hardware, because the code will be strongly dependent on hardware ( peripheral configuration like ADC, DAC, PWMs ... ). So most important part of code will be about driving peripherals of microcontroller. So if somebody prepare code for you in simulink or in C without knowing hardware, then you will still have to do a lot of work with setting up of peripherals. You will need also some external circuit to make VR sensor analog singla with such amplitude (-5 and 5 V, up to -12 to 12 V), but of course you will drive amplitude and frequency by microcontroller. From hardware I would recommend you tu use Texas Instruments or Microchip microcontroler. We can discuss this later. Think about it. If you want to cooperate, please let me know. Thank you. Best regards and good luck. Peter .

Hello, I have already most of the parts needed for your project, so i think it will go pretty fast. There are some things that don't match in your description, but this will be solved. So, because i do this everyday (i'm not only a freelancer) for the last few years, it makes me pretty qualified for this job. Also i have a team of another 2 SW and HW engineers beside me who are doing the exact same thing. Have a nice evening, Cosmin
