Jenkins Script parameters - read configuration file specify server names - we have the server list module installed.

This is a project to deal with: Jenkins (version 1.637) [login to view URL] & shell scripting MUST BE WELL VERSED WITH JENKINS What is needed is the ability for a Jenkins job (version 1.637) can pick up a text file; see below, and have the variables used by jenkins. # cat [login to view URL] pvcs_username=joeuser pvcs_database=ssa pvcs_project_dir=/test pvcs_app_version=TEST_1.0.0 pvcs_info=88888888 target_dir=/temp target_env=[login to view URL] # pwd /webapp-config/myproject # The task details are as follows: 1. Have a job in Jenkins (version 1.637) run that will read the file and create a job that will exist in jenkins combining the values of “pvcs_app_version” and pvcs_info and pvcs_project_dir and today's date time yyyymmddhhmmss. a) In the example above the job name would be: “TEST_1.0.0-88888888-test_20160101_121532” b) A field in the job “build with parameters” will prompt for ONE field for password. c) There will be shell code that will run that can display the variables from the configuration file as well as the password. d) The job should be ready for execution e) the server names should be available and seent A completed job will be able to demonstrate this off a webex with me and also provide the instructions for me to configure this job in Jenkins, once working in my environment for me, the job will be completed.
