We have a WSH script that was written to work with IIS5 that does not seem to work with IIS 7.5. The purpose of the script is to create virtual directories or "applications" in IIS under a particular site based on the directory names inside the actual file folder. Sample script is attached. ## Deliverables As stated in the brief summary, the purpose of this script is to create multiple virtual directories/applications under a particular site based on the contents of a particular folder. For example, I have a directory under: c:\mysites\[login to view URL] Inside this directory I have three folders: virtual1 virtual2 virtual3 Executing this: cscript [login to view URL] c:\mysites\[login to view URL] [login to view URL] would create three virtual directories under my [login to view URL] site so it would look like this: [login to view URL] |_virtual1 |_virtual2 |_virtual3 That's pretty much it.
