I have articles which need to be submitted to [login to view URL] (I will provide my userid and password) All that needs to be done is to make the articles acceptable to their format. I use Word but special characters like quotation marks get rejected by the ArticleMarketer editor You will receive emaila which tell you what edit errors are flagged by the [login to view URL] site editor Then you will be expected to go to [login to view URL] site, modify accordingly and resubmit teh article. Daily Status report required. This project should be very simple for somebody who knows how to submit articles ## Deliverables The total number of articles to be submitted in the first pass is 10 Then if the work is satisfactory - then I will give 50 or more articles to be submitted. Sample article: ***5? keys to first 90 days of a new hire*** Getting an employee to be productive is not always easy because the employee has a lot to learn about the new work environment. Therefore, how the manager introduces the work and the rest of the team to the new hire will determine how quickly the new employee will become assimilated and succeed in the organization. ## *1. Welcome Employees Enthusiastically* ? Make employees feel welcomed, wanted, and needed. Numerous studies have shown that relationships formed at work often determine whether an employee stays or leaves. ? ? ## *2. Create Clear Written Expectations and Consequences* ? This can be easily accomplished by having a detailed list of activities and outcomes that a person needs to perform. Using checklists like a weekly checklist can eliminate any ambiguity of what needs to be done. Simultaneously providing a detailed picture of the outcomes that are expected to be achieved will enhance a sense of mission and purpose within the team. ? ## *3. Create and Execute a Detailed Plan for Orientation and Training* **? ** As mentioned before, busy managers find it difficult to give adequate time to help new employees learn and get acquainted with systems and other team members. Having a written plan in place can make it easier for the manager to implement this step. Also, creating some steps which can be done without direct supervision by the manager will free him to do important tasks during the training period. ## **4. Provide Ongoing Structure and Support from the Manager and the Team** **? ** The employee must understand when and who to approach for clarification and support. ? ## *5. Provide Supervision and Feedback* ? It is critical to set a regular feedback time with a new employee. This could be done by e-mail, reports and in person. Recap of Actions for New Hire: * Discuss and set 30-day, 60-day and 90-day goals for new hires. * Meet with new hire daily for the first few weeks. * As a welcoming gesture, organize a staff lunch on the employee's first day. * Have the new hire shadow a co-worker. * Have the new hire attend a staff meeting in every department to understand the big picture of how your company operates. * Review the provided written procedures for repeated tasks. * Cross-train your staff so new hires can get help if they find themselves in a pinch. ? As mentioned before, confront poor performance early. Word Count 399
