You should find a negotiating situation in fiction or documentary or film and conduct an analysis of the negotiations on the basis of the scheme discussed in class (it cannot be didactic, training or academic literature - i.e. examples of negotiations discussed for didactic purposes or a ready-made analysis of negotiations). The analysis scheme is as follows: Part 1: 1. What were the negotiations about? What was the conflict? Who were the parties to the negotiations? 2. What were their interests (common, different, conflicting)? 3. What were the alternatives (what was BATNAstron)? 4. What issues were discussed in the negotiation process? 5. What were the opening positions of the parties (first bids)? 6. How did the parties make the decision? (Objective criteria - what, persuasion - what arguments, pressure - what kind)? Part 2: 7. How (and if at all) in the described negotiations were implemented the 4 principles of negotiation described by Fisher and Ury in the book 'Getting to YES'? Show what the essence of each principle is and describe how 2 way these rules were applied. The answer to this point should clearly show that the author (s) of the work has read the book, understands the principles of negotiation described in it and can indicate them (or lack thereof) in specific negotiations
