Hello - i have two security related tasks: Task 1 In Visual Studio 2013 looks i cannot find the memberships page where i can assign certain users access to certain pages. The option is not there anymore. I want to be able to set this up: - user A can access page 1 - user B can access page 2 - user C can access both page 1 and 2 And I want to control which user can access which page. This was so simple to do in old visual studio now I can't find it anymore. Task 2 - when you create a new users using the visual studio default login page it hashes the password when it saves it to the database. I want users to be able to login to the my app from a desktop app using this same password. So I need the user to enter thr password and checks if it is the same against the hashed password. I can't work out what hashing algorithm is being used.
