Pendrive partition, protect folder

I am Unai Ausukua from Total Technology (Spain). I work for spanish companies in Asia. I have a client that works with pendrive and HD Mobile. He needs a tool to can partition them. For pendrive he has found it. The problem are the HD Mobile, he uses this model (the name is Xpen): <[login to view URL]> It's a laptop's HD with a case and that connects to computer with USB. My client sells law databases to lawyers. These databases are in a folder and don't need to install nothing in a computer. They are like Word documents, then, the database is a folder with subfolders and documents. Before, my client distributes the databases in CD & DVD, but the database increase every year (now it's 8 Gb). The requirement is to protect this database (=folder) in an removable disk. UF= clients of my client. I need to can partition Xpen with 2 partitions: First Partition: Where is locate the database. It must to work like a CD-Rom Second Partition: It must work like a pendrive normal. UF connects Xpen to computer and he can see the folder in First Partition, he can read documents in First Partition but he cannot write, delete, only read it. In Second Partition, he can write, delete, create folders and documents. I have attached a photo. It's an example. The idea is that Xpen can be use like an removable disk without delete the database (folder protected). Other proposition can be only to protect the folder (with database) without to partition disk Thank you ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The software to protect database must to be used in W2000 or XP, it doesn´t matter. The most important is Xpen with database protected can be use in W98, Millenium, W2000 and XP (Prof. and Home Edition)
