Write a crawler

I checked [login to view URL] and it seems to be no problem to scrape this site via python an beautiful soup. For your requirements i would complete the following tasks: 0. Create sqlite-database, if not already exists 1. Get [login to view URL] page via [login to view URL] 2. Parse data from step 1 with BeautifulSoup 3. Search all relevant entries from Step2. 4. Update database with search results. For [login to view URL] i guess it will take about 2-4 hours to implement your project. The delivered source code will be PEP8 compatible and will by fully documented. It is also possible to get the data from flashscore.com. But this will be more difficult, as the match data is not part of the html-source, but is encoded in the javascript-parts of the html-response. So for [login to view URL] the implementation would take about 4-6 hours. So i would start with livescore.com. After the results are satisfying for you, i would also implement the scraper for flashscores. I would use the MVC-Pattern for this project with following classes: - Scraper: Get the contents from [login to view URL] - Parser: Parse the results and filter the relevant information. - DatabaseAdapter: For creating and writing the results to the database-file - Controller: The controller part of the MVC. Starts scraping and triggers output to DatabaseAdapter. - Timer: Optional part, if you do not want to use a cron job, but run this pyton-script in an infite loop.
