Then come work with us at FarmersWeb! FarmersWeb is a New York based eCommerce platform that connects local farmers and producers with local wholesale buyers. The goal of FarmersWeb is to increase market access and efficiency for both farms and buyers, which in turn will enable more local food to reach the end customer. This posting is a trial project to see if we work well together. If things go well it is expected that you will join our team for a Full Time contract to fill one of our currently open positions: [login to view URL] FarmersWeb is currently built on a proprietary (ick) MVC framework on the faithful LAMP stack with a large dose of the Doctrine ORM and an ugly dependence on jQuery. So you should have exemplary chops in: LAMP (you have to be able to quickly understand the current codebase) MVC (or more accurately MVS: model view service) Javascript/Ajax (and hopefully you have a UI framework like bootstrap that you know inside and out) ORM (doctrine experience a plus) Project specification is attached!
