Need PHP snippet

I need a php snippet that will show the last entry in the URL. I have a search script and need to insert the last entry in my url into this script. I can do that part myself but I am not good with php so I need a coder to create a? code snippet that will take the last part of the url, modify it and display it in the page Example Url is [login to view URL] I need php that will insert this into my page: Eighteen+Wheeler Note that the phrase can be longer like Eighteen_wheeler_schematics_and_pictures which would be converted by the script you create to Eighteen+wheeler+schematics+and+pictures All I need is the PHP snippet that I can insert in my page. This should be a simple project for anyone who understands php. I can do basic html and insert php but cannot code in it. Thanks
