I am looking for a website similar to [login to view URL], [login to view URL], and http://www.Spreadshirt.com. Below is an overview of the website in great detail. I apologize for the length and depth of this post. I have just had to start over on this project after several months due to my previous programmer not fully understanding the details, even after weeks of in depth discussion. Please review this and the site mentioned above throughly. This website will be linked with an applet for customizing products. (Please see my other post on the applet as I will give a higher preference if you bid on both, since this will help things more more smoothly.) Since the site requires displaying images which are output from the applet you must have some knowledge of the applet, and you may be asked to work with another programmer to get the details of how to integrate the site and the applet. This site serves two different purposes. The first purpose is to provide a service of letting users upload images to my site, then attach those uploaded images to products which I will then sell. The second purpose of the site is to sell the customized products that are placed in the sellers' stores. The entire site will be run by myself. Please see below for more details. ## Deliverables I am looking for a website similar to [login to view URL], [login to view URL], and http://www.Spreadshirt.com. Users who are selling on the site will be called "admins" or "sellers". The second purpose of the site is to sell the customized products that are placed in the sellers' stores. Users of this section will be called "customers". The entire site will be run by myself, the super admin. The uploading and editing of images will be handled by the applet mentioned earlier. An image of the customization will be output by the editing applet which you will use as the product image. When users come to the first page of the site they will come to a welcome page. This page will have a short description of the site, and send them to either the buyer or seller section. The purpose of the seller section is to let users pick items to customize, and upload artwork or add text to it. These customized items will then be sold in a personalized store within my site. All seller owned stores will be dynamically created for free. When an order is placed in a seller's store the seller will earn a commission. Each blank item will have a base price associated with it and the user sets the amount of commission they want to earn, then the item is sold for the base price plus the commission. The commission is held for at least 30 days (to make sure there are no returns), then it becomes pending. When the pending commissions reach a threshold set by the user they will be paid. There will be only one shopping cart on my site which will allow customers to add products from any seller. Each store will have its own admin area, which will be used to edit items, edit the look of their store, view orders, commission due, etc. The users must be able to change the look of their store entirely. This means layout, background image, colors, fonts, and table boarders. The only thing that cannot be changed is a footer with my sites information. The seller section will have a log-in area for store owners, a create items button for people who want to edit and buy a single item, and a create a store option for non-store owners. Creating a store is free, but requires acceptance for Terms of Service. This means that there needs to be a check-box terms of service agreement statement on the store creation page. The terms of service will appear in a pop-up window if the words "terms of service" are clicked. I will provide the text of the terms of service at a later time, placeholder text will be used until then. Once the seller enters their name, store name, and e-mail address, their store will be created. The store will be a separate address on my site in the following format [login to view URL] The store name must pass an availability check before being assigned, of course. Sellers can have more than one store if they wish. An empty store with their desired name has now been created. At this point they will be prompted to begin creating items to sell. This will bring them to the applet, see my other post if you would like more details on this. The applet will give an output image for the site. This is an image of the base product (a shirt, hat, mouse-pad, etc.) with the seller's customized art/text overlaid on top of it. This is the seller's product that they will sell in their store. The seller will now be prompted for details on the item such as Title, Description, Keywords (see below for more details on keywords), and the amount of commission they want to earn. Once these things are completed, and the seller saves the changes, the item will go up for sale on the site. The seller can now end or go through the process again to add more items to their store. The sellers will also need their own admin section. This will be much more limited than the super admin section of the site. This section will have to be able to do the following: -View, edit, remove, or add to the items they have for sale. -Keywords must be included in the editing/adding area. Keywords will be used by the sites search engine and will allow customers to find the seller's items. These will also be used to populate categories, which are explained in the buyers section. -Edit their storefront's look, including layout, colors, fonts, background image, and table borders. -View any sales made in their store. -View a history of their commissions. -See pending commissions and commissions being held for the initial 30 days. -Add/edit payment information. -Place orders for items in their own store without paying a commission. -Decide their payment method between check or PayPal, then collect relevant information. -Set the commission threshold, user will not get paid until this amount is reached. The amount will be $25, $50, $75 or $100. -View the commission payment date. This is the day the payment will be made to the user. This date will be one of a fixed list, picked from a drop down which is populated by the site admin. An e-mail must be sent to the super admin to pay the seller, and to the seller to tell them a payment is pending, if the commissions due are greater or equal to the commission threshold. -View returns, this is a list of items that were returned by customers. When an item is returned the commission must be removed from the Pending section. Returns are only accepted for 30 days, so no return will affect commissions already paid. I believe this sums up the seller section of the website. The other section of the website is for users coming to buy the customized products that were made by sellers. This will be similar to a standard multi-store e-commerce site. An easy way to grasp this concept is to view the sellers as vendors, and the stores as a list of items from that vendor with a customized look. The main customer page will have a list of main categories on the sidebar, a list of main categories with their sub categories listed below them in the main section, and a search field. The categories will be auto-populated. This means that any product with a keyword matching the keyword for the category will show up when this category is selected. Main categories would be things like "Holidays", "Animals", "Political", etc. Sub-categories are things like "Christmas", "Dogs", "2008 Election". When a main category is clicked there would be a list of sub-categories at the top of the page, and matching results below that. Sub-categories would bring you to a page of results only. Once again, these results are created dynamically by simply performing a search for the listed keywords. The category titles and keywords will be maintained by the super admin. I would be happy to pay for the business edition of Google search for my website since this is a powerful and versatile search tool. If you have another suggestion on how to handle this, or if this would cause issues with the keyword feature, please let me know. The site will have a single shopping cart which can have products added from all stores. This must have a one page checkout. Payments will need to be made through credit card, Google checkout, and PayPal. If the customer is also a seller they can also use their commission not yet paid out to pay for items, even if it has not met their threshold. Upon checkout the customer must be able to choose from several shipping options (FedEx, UPS, USPS) which must be calculated automatically based on integration of the FedEx, UPS WorldShip, and USPS tools. The other part of the site is the super admin section of the site. This is the main admin section of the website. It needs all standard e-commerce functions. Here is a breakdown of key functions: -Full reports for the site, which are can be searched and sorted. -An area to upload new blank items. A new blank item will need images, description, colors, sizes, and base price. This information must tie in with the flash applet, you may have to work with the programmer of that to make this feature work properly. -The ability to set a site wide sale, which would lower the base price (and by proxy the final sale price) of all or some items. -Ability to grant gift certificates -The work must be in place for an affiliate program, even though this most likely will not be active at launch. -Ability to remove any item from any store in case of inappropriate or illegal content. I believe this is a full summary of my site, please review this document fully and all sites mentioned within. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me for more details.
