Hello,
I develop a Flex application, in which one I pre-load (with BolkLoader) a swf file containing a sequence of frames (bitmap with transparency). The aim is that the Flex application controls the swf animation so as to play the sequence, like if it is a video.
It’s quite ok, BUT, I have a serious problem of fluidity in my animation. Example: I play the animation of the frame 1 to 30 two times consecutive: the first time is really slow, the fps seems divided by two; the second time, the animation is fluent.
I tried to decrease the number of frames per two in the swf file, and consequently duplicate playing speed (either by the fps, or by controlling manually with another thing like next_frame = current_fram+2) but still the same, performance is really unstable… I also played with the animation quality ([login to view URL]), no difference…
I’m looking for a technique which allows to ameliorate animation fluidity, that is to say that in the same container, I would like two swf files in the same time + 1 thread which plays sound above. So it’s crucial that each part will be optimized at the maximum…
This global project is in the final phase and really urgent!! Indeed, we must have before October 9th a functional version.
This suggested project is to help us to find the solution to our problem.
