I want to have two pages in Perl which will allow the user to login . The user will enter the user name and password in the login page. The user name and password would be checked in the MYSQL database
Name of Database : Prd
Table structrue : Login
UsrNm : Varchar : 20
Pswd : Varchar : 20
LgAs : Varchar :10
the user name and password would be checked and Status of user will be returned by the field LgAs the possible values in the feild as
a) Administrator
b) Power User
c) User
If the record for the username and password is found then it will navigate to page 2 which will show
User : User Name Entered by the user
Status : Will show value of field LgAs
If no record is found it will show "Invalid User"
I need a complete documentation of the code
If I navigate to another page on the browser I need a code to tell me how I would print User name on any other page generated in perl.
