I have a subscription for accessing historical financial market data from opentick.com. This subscription includes access to historical level II data (via API) but unfortunately opentick's standard download application does not support this yet. That's why I need you to either develop a new application using their API or to expand the existing (open source) application to enable me to retrieve and save historical level II (market depth) data for symbols traded on GLOBEX and NASDAQ.
The data from [login to view URL] can be accessed via well documented API's in C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Delphi, Java, and Perl. I need a simple application that allows me to specify the symbol I want to retrieve data for and the time period and then download the level II data for that symbol and save this in a .csv file.
Most probably the easiest way for you to do this is to expand the existing (open source) 'historical csv' download tool which can be found at: <http://[login to view URL]> This tool already has all the required functionalities except for supporting level II data. However, if you prefer to write your own application that will be fine too.
The winner of this bid request will get my opentick username and password to access the level II data and to test the application.
The source for the existing application can be found here: <[login to view URL]>

As you all seem to have problems finding the source for the existing application, it can be found here: [login to view URL] If you have made a bid to develop a new application please reconsider your bid since it will probably be cheaper to build on top of the existing application.
## Platform
The application should work on a standard Windows XP PC.
