Hi, Upgrade Magento From 1.3 to 1.8 is a big jump, and off-course it will depend on many things like size of database, extensions custom code etc. As Magento 1.3 has a lot of limitations and deprecated files/code - your theme and custom code wont work anymore - all manually loaded extensions must be upgraded via ftp - if you have many custom code and modules you definitely we have to enable full pdo debug output --also first we have to upgrade to 1.4, then to 1.8 As per you all the extensions are 1.8 compatible and there is no custom modules and plugins are installed Right? for the theme your theme company will provide the 1.8 compatible Theme ? Public_html and the database has already been setup that's really cool.
