Script to inject data into a MySQL database from XML file

I do have some data in an XML file in addition to some images in a folder that needs to be injected into a MySQL DB. Below is a brief description of what I have and what I want: - XML file that include, say 10-20 fields. One field would hold a unique value (like a reference code for the record and we would call it X. For example, W1324123). - In the folder that would include the images, you would have jpgs in this name format (PhotoX-n). Where (Photo as a string is constant), X is the same X unique number, and n is an incremental number (between 1 and 6) which is the number of photos associated with the record. So we can have up to 6 images associated with each record. For example, an image named (PhotoW1324123-1) would be the main image associated with the record (W1324123). - There can be other images like (PhotoW1324123-2 and PhotoW1324123-3 and up to PhotoW1324123-6) that are all related to the same record but the one that ends with (-1) is the main one. The Requirement - I need a script that creates the table and injects the initial data ( full form XML file) and images into the database. - I need another script that automatically refreshes the information on the database at a specific scheduled time of the day. I would have another XML file and a new set of images. The second XML file would hold the data deference (incremental) between last day and the current available records in the DB. Therefore, the script needs to delete what is no longer available and adds the newly added records. - The scripts should be written using php - The scripts should be properly coded so I can easily manipulate like modifying data fields and other settings (I am not a coder but can understand code to a certain extent and I don’t want to turn modifying the code into a hassle every time my client is looking to change something).
