option feature

We need an expert to make a small modification to our existing shopping cart. We need the existing option feature AJAX enabled with a slight mod. At present the option has to be given a name before to add/attache to the product which means for every product the option name has to be inserted into a field which causes some cumbersome procedures and is very fault prone including time consuming. The attached mock-up shows it at the left image The new version is shown at the right image of the attached mock-up which shows the AJAX feature and where a user can just select a option from a 'drop down list' select it and is also able to view the existing option and if needed creating a new one. NOTE: the option feature itself with the values are already existing/coded no modification of the database is necessary owner can be consulted at anytime for more explanation Script is PHP running on Linux and an existing MySQL database FTP access provided but NO CP.
