Login Functionality

I have a Bootstrap/AngularJS SPA application that requires Login functionality to be added. I would like the login button already on a menu header to actually perform a login that takes the user to a Data screen. If the person isn't logged in, the Data screen is not available. Then, once logged in and on the Data screen, the top menu should not have the Login fields and button, but instead should have a Logout button to log the person out. The Login would have to call a PHP program to verify the user from a User table in a MySQL database. The Logout button would clear a session variable (or whatever is applicable), remove the Data page and make it inaccesible, and return the user to the main screen (landing page).
