This project will be to create an order entry system for a printing company.
User Interface:
* The user will be required to enter a username and password to access the system
* The user will enter the company name, phone number, or account number to try and bring them up.
* The program will search through a FoxPro database for a list of customers to help the user identify the correct customer
* Once the user selects the customer the system should bring up a list of past jobs that the customer has done with the company and allow the user to decide if they want to copy the information from any of the past jobs or just start a new job. The job list should include the job number, date, and the description.
* After a selection is made a new screen will come up with all of the options for the job listed. If they chose to copy a previous job then the options from the previous job will already be selected. The options are very numerous. See the attached PDF file for a list of all of the options.
* If the user chose a new job then the same options screen will appear but none of them will be selected.
* Some validation will be required on the options that I have not yet determined.
* Once the user has made all of their selections and all of the fields have been validated the form with all of the options will print out exactly as they appear in the attached PDF.
* The user will also be allowed to view a list of currently open jobs
* The user will also be allowed to edit open jobs
* The user will also be allowed to mark jobs closed and enter the invoice number
