I need a web designer to build a website from scratch that will host my personal Masters Golf Pool. Understanding the basics of Golf will help, as will experience in office pools. I have done this for years using an excel spreadsheet, and I can forward that as a guide if needed. Excel does a fine job with the sorting and ranking players but the data collection is a huge project. Last year I had 150 players. Requirements: 1) Restrict access to site to only people with the password. (would want to be able to change the password if needed) This pool is only for friends I don't want the general public to stumble into it. 2) Create a Admin page where users submit their names, e-mail, phone #. (Allow me to delete players if needed) If they win the pool I need to contact them. 3) Create a pick sheet (using name above) where all users select 10 (may change) golfers from a list of around 80 (may change). Also a tiebreaker selection of total strokes the winner will have (all 4 rounds) Use check boxes but need programming to limit # of selections. 4) Keep all picks hidden from users until they have made their picks. I don't want others to see other guys picks until they have made their selections. Once picks are submitted they are locked in and can be changed only by me. 5) Create a scoreboard that sorts the scores of all the pool players golfers. (I will hand enter the scores of each of the 4 rounds) I will enter the scores in relation to par (-2 = 2 under par, 4=4 over par) 6) Scoreboard will sort in order of the lowest score of the best 6(may change) out of 10(may change) golfers. 7) Also need tie-breaker system. 1st tie-breaker is most golfers (out of 10) to make the cut. 2nd tie-breaker is the closest guess to the Actual winers stroke total for the entire tournament. 8) Need sign up cutoff. This can be either based on date and time or manual. I need to close the pool to new members prior to the actual golf tournament starting.
