Make Flash Movie Resizable But Proportional

We have a client that keeps wanting the map on his home page bigger and bigger. But, if you look at it right now on my laptop, it it too big. My client insists that it is way too small and that his clients all have very large monitors. The map is a flash movie embedded in HTML. We would like to have the map resize itself according according to how large the available space is, but we don't want to do an exact fit and have the movie stretched out and distorted. Their old website does this, and it looks terrible. Here is their old website (<[login to view URL]>), feel free to make fun of it because we didn't create it. :) Is there a way to have flash resize itself proportionately, so that the aspect ratio of the length and width is always the same? We thought about doing a detection script that checks for screen size and then redirects to a few different size pages, but we don't want to have to make several different size HTML pages. And we don't want to have a redirect page as soon as you get to the home page because we want search engines to find this page ok. So I am not sure if it is possible to do what we are asking, but if you have an idea and want to do it, let me know.
