I am receiving the following error when trying to update Office 2000 from the Microsoft site or reinstall from the original program disk. I am running Windows XP and cannot run the cleaup program as suggested on the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
This patch package can not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer patch package.
