I have a web shop which is built in a combination of asp and asp.net. It works fine. The admin, however, is no good when looking for products and when I want to edit them. I can do everything but I have to do it in multiple steps which I now want to fix.
The attached image shows exactly what I want it to look like. I don't want any changes made to any of the existing files, and I don't want to change the database in any way.
I want to create this single page, which shall be able to make all actions that are mentioned in the details below.
## Deliverables
The idea is to create one page with AJAX so that it becomes very simple to update items on the site.
Please see the images to understand what I want to be able to do. It is also described here:
top part:
*search items (by title, designer and description)
* filter items (by choosing in select boxes which ones I want to see)
For the search results I see the following information
Type, location, designer, title, description, price, currency, size, color, condition, # of sold items, status, images
I shall be able to edit ALL of these (except # of items sold)
Editing shall be done using AJAX.
* Some are predefined (type, location, currency, condition, status)
For these when I clcik to edit, I get a layer that shows my option, and when I click it updates the field.
* Some are free text (designer, title, description, price, size, color)
When I edit these I get a text box with a "save" icon. I can edit the text, and save the new entry.
* Images
Each item has four image. I only want it to display IF the image exists. If it does I get a filled image icon. If not I get an empty image icon. If I click on the iamge icon, it brings up the same popup I currently use for uploading images to the item.
Links
* There are two links "Edit" and "delete" that already work. These we keep for those that want to come to the old edit page.
Note: The current shop is for second hand clothes. So all products only come in one size and color. But the site was built for a regular shop which allows multiple of each. This is solved so that when I add an item, it just adds one entry to the size table, and one entry to the color table. Editing a color works fine to just rename the entry, but it will be in a separate table.
Total of 5 tables are used for a product (item, price, sizes, style, styleImage)
I am looking for a long term partner on this project. If this job ends up perfect I am hoping for more work.
