I want to upgrade our codecamp web site to have a more professional look. A professional designer made the following graphic designs and from these designs, I would like these things listed below: 1. A well organized css file that supports the html and aspx pages in our project. (no javascript) 2. an asp.net master page (with an empty c# codebehind) that is visually almost identical to the mockup called HomePage. 3. Pages (with an empty c# codebehind) Each of the other pages should inherit from the MasterPage created above. In each page, do not use any asp.net server controls. Just use simple html tags (like il,div, etc. try avoiding use of table). When there are lists of things (like sessions or presenters) make the lists containt 3 or more samples just listed out in html. No loops, no server side controls, no javascript. About Page (see [login to view URL] markup). News Page (see [login to view URL] markup). Program Page (see [login to view URL]). Registration Page (see [login to view URL]). Schedule Page (see [login to view URL]). Sessions Page (see svc_sessions). Speakers Page (see [login to view URL]). ## Deliverables I want to upgrade our codecamp web site to have a more professional look. (left side is persisent short cuts that don't change, just links). For menu choices accross top (ie: Register;Program;News;About;Wiki called Primary Navigation), when hovering over primary navigation, replace tag line "By and For the Developer Community" with secondary navigation. Example: when hovering over "Program", secondary navigation should show "Schedule Sessions Speakers Feedback". If item has secondary navigation (like Program), have "+" sign after word Program. If not secondary nav (like Wiki), don't have plus sign. Here is the Navigation (use this if it is different than the mockup). Indented words are secondary navigation and should show up when hovering of "By and For the Developer Community". Register {No Secondary Nav} Program Schedule Tracks Sessions Speakers News {No Secondary Nav} About Contact Venue Sponsors Organizers Previous Events WIKI {No Secondary Nav} 3. Make sure that for each time (8am-9am,9am-9:30 etc.) that the information indented properly and is in a sublist. that is, something like list of list. Sessions Page (see svc_sessions). Top area with CodeCamp and BarCamp graphic should be basically static html. Bottom area should have two separate area that will only be shown (with server side div) depending on which graphic (codecamp or barcamp) is selected. Speakers Page (see [login to view URL]). functionality should be same as Sessions Page, but presenter layout is different than session layout. The deliverable should be a visual studio 2008 c# web project (not WAP, that is no csproj file) that lets you go back and forth between the different pages by clicking on the links. Directory structure should be: WebRoot\[login to view URL] WebRoot\MasterPage WebRoot\App_Themes\Default\[login to view URL] {this is css for whole project} WebRoot\App_Themes\Default\[login to view URL] {all images should be in this directory} WebRoot\[login to view URL] WebRoot\[login to view URL] WebRoot\Program\[login to view URL] WebRoot\Program\[login to view URL] WebRoot\Program\[login to view URL] WebRoot\Program\[login to view URL] WebRoot\News\[login to view URL] WebRoot\News\[login to view URL] WebRoot\Misc\[login to view URL] WebRoot\... continue for all primary and secondary navigation Note From Designer: i'm hoping this [login to view URL] file will cover it for them, since it has all the existing fonts and styles, so they shouldn't need PSDs for the other pages. (i'm trying to save myself the extra work since it's a pain to export and clean up layers in PS ;-) ? also, i've created layers with the "on hover" states, which includes the colored primary nav highlight, the secondary nav menu (for About and Program), inside the [login to view URL] file. ? and i included a layer folder called "body" which is a folder with subfolders for body content for register, about, news, program, schedules, sessions, and speaker. but b/c of a technical glitch moving from Fireworks to PS, i had to rasterize the text for those body content layers. yet, it's the same fonts and sizes as elsewhere, nothing new or different really. ? oh another point: i set most of the body text to Calibri (sans serif) and Cambria (serif), which are new windows vista fonts that automatically install when a user has vista or IE7...but, for those folks who don't have these fonts, or using a mac, then Arial and Georgia should be used, respectively...so the CSS should specify "Calibri, Arial, sans-serif", and "Cambria, Georgia, serif" so as to degrade gracefully for those folks who don't have Calibri and Cambria.
