Stuck on webpack Getting Started instructions

I'm just now learning webpack, and am pretty new to npm in general. I'm working through the Getting Started instructions at [login to view URL] . The command "npx webpack" fails with "npm WARN webpack-cli@3.3.6 requires a peer of webpack@4.x.x but none is installed." I tried a bunch of things from places like [login to view URL] , but just went further down a rabbit hole of error messages. The project is to run the attached Vagrant machine and write an explanation and instructions on how to resolve the problem. It's probably pretty obvious to someone who knows npm. My project is not a race. I get many replies from people who don't even read the description. To show that you read the description, please make "Stegosaurus" the first word of your reply. Hi there! The error indicates that the "webpack" npm package has not been installed. You should double check that you ran the following commands: mkdir webpack-demo cd webpack-demo npm init -y npm install webpack --save-dev npm install webpack-cli --save-dev Particularly, this one "npm install webpack --save-dev" seems to have been missed. Note that webpack and webpack-cli are two separate packages. You should then be able to run "npx webpack" from the root of the "webpack-demo" folder. (or whatever you named the project folder).
