Today I found my / partition was 100% full.
Ordered my sys admin to clean MySQL bin replication files, that was filling the disk with more than 60GB.
He did, but something went terribly wrong, all databases are gone now.
Your job is to try to recover databases, so far they are unable to find them.
Server is centos, has DirectAdmin.
If you have an idea what might have gone wrong, and believe you might be able to recover databases (there's one at least that I really need), please answer and take the job. This recovery should be "urgent", as soon as possible. Thanks.
Hello,
I have over 9 years experience as an Linux admin and strong experience with MySQL.. the binaries shouldnt be just deleted.. there is a mysql command to purge the logs.. anyway I could try to fix the issue
