My app has some JNI code which is causing the following errors in a VOIP application. The problem is most likely due to memory management/excess memory usage in the C/C++ code: A/libc(1496): Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV) at 0xdeadd00d (code=1) A/libc(27466): Fatal signal 11 (SIGSEGV), code 1, fault addr 0x39 in tid 27863 (AsyncTask #3) A/libc(20362): Fatal signal 6 (SIGABRT) at 0x00004f8a (code=-6), thread 20496 (Thread-11014) A/libc(26922): Fatal signal 6 (SIGABRT) at 0x0000692a (code=-6), thread 27297 (AsyncTask #3) The task is to fix the code so that the above errors are resolved. I'm a Computer Science major at Tufts University and just completed an advanced class on machine structure and memory management in C, with a particular focus on debugging using gdb and data display debugger. I've also previously completed classes in C++ coding, and enjoy working on Android projects in my spare time, so I'm confident I can find the bug in your program. From your error codes, it seems you're accessing a NULL or invalid pointer somewhere in your C/C++ code. I can use gdb with the ddd interface to locate exactly where that segfault is coming from, and then trace what's happening to that pointer to fix the problem.
