There are plenty of apps for smartphones that are written for the Windows Mobile, Blackberry, iOS and Android platforms - specifically online radio streaming apps. How about developing a Java-based app for feature phones (opposite of a smart phone) that can also do online radio streaming? That is what I am looking for. Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) would be the ideal language to develop such an application as most feature phones are Java-based or at least capable of interpreting Java. To summarise: looking for an online radio streaming application that can run on Java-based feature phones. Feature of application: 1. Can stream audio 2. Able to use playlists (create, edit, delete) 3. Save stream for offline access 4. Social media integration More specific details to be revealed during project discussion.
