Only rows which have equal fields in the first colunm should be added. see illstration below Table A 1 a 2 b 3 c 4 d Table B 1 g 2 f 4 h 6 y Combining table A and B should give the following result 1 a g 2 b f 4 d h let me know if you need forward expalination.
