Hire A Local Trader (HALT)

Hello there, Hire A Local Trader (HALT) is a new UK based directory service that helps customers connect with local traders in their area. The directory is unique as it lists only traders who are based in a specific locality such as (North End; in Portsmouth or Elephant And Castle In London), this ensures that the customer is able to find a genuinely local business and doesn't end up having too many to choose from. The directory also helps reduce competition by ensuring traders who live or are based outside of the local area are not able to advertise in another local area. Additionally, unlike other directories that list most business types, HALT will be exclusive to actual trades. For example a hair dresser/barber or restaurants will not be allowed to advertise on the directory. The company is looking for a logo that is text-based with the the abbreviation HALT and the name "Hire A Local Trader" in it. The design should be friendly and fun, something that would appeal to both the consumer and the business customer. The company is open to creative ideas and the directors are outgoing and positive, and want the logo to reflect that. The colour scheme is yet to be chosen, but the overall feeling from the Directors is the website will likely be shades of green. We intend on this logo becoming a household brand name so go crazy!
