I have been writing for 30 years and my writing career actually started at Avon Products because I had written so many funny/sarcastic personalized poems and songs for people that the Manager of Customer Care actually asked me to apply for a correspondence position. Avon would always ask me to write poems for their retirees. I also altered the lyrics to "California Girls" to Avon Girls for a National Convention where the senior management team sang to all the District Managers. I changed the words to the "Twas the night before Christmas" poem for a worldwide Avon challenge.
