Shopify Website Overview: This Shopify Store is about a service called Pet Box that provides personalized surprise boxes for dogs. The main goal of this shopify store is to sell Pet Boxes tailored to each dog's age, size, breed, toy preferences, and allergies. The store aims to make dogs and dog owners happy by offering them high-quality toys, healthy snacks, and natural chew items. To get the Pet Box, the Shopify store offers different subscription options, such as a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscription plan. Customers can also choose to order a one-time box to try it out. The store emphasizes that the longer the subscription, the bigger the discount. Customer Order Placement Journey Today: Customers order on our website which is built on Shopify, and they indeed answer a questionnaire before completing their order: 1) What is the name of your dog? Open answer 2) How large is (dog’s name)? Junior (up to 6 months) Mini (up to 11kg) Medium (12-20kg) Large (above 20kg) 3) When is (dog’s name)’s birthday? Open answer 4) Which breed is (dog’s name)? (Multiple answers possible) Plush and squeak toy Rope toy Throwing toy Intelligence toy Chew toy Ball 6) All Snacks are wheat- and sugar-free mono protein snacks. Player (2 Toys, 4 Snacks, 1 Chewy) Sweet Tooth (1 Toy, 5 Snacks, 1 Chewy) Chewer (1 Toy, 3 Snacks, 3 Chewies) The above questionnaire appears only after a product is selected. The products being the different boxes i.e. a 3-month, a 6-month, a 12-month Pet Box subscription plan or a one time Pet Box order. New Customization Objective: This project has two modules which aim to enhance the user experience and functionality of our Shopify website by implementing two key aspects. The below two modules list the details.. A) Front Page Questionnaires and Flow Redirection: Streamline the shopping process by moving the current post-box selection questionnaires on the front page of the website. These questionnaires will gather the same information from potential customers and then redirect them to the box purchase section showcasing the different modes to purchase box Step by step flows for module A: - The existing questionnaire will be used with no changes - Most of the interactive buttons on the home page, except for “discover the snacks” initiate this questionnaire - The existing questionnaire which pops out when the box purchase option is selected will be disabled for all options (since its asked on the first page) - Similarly, after pressing the “put it together individually now” button the customer should only be prompted to fill in payment and billing address details. - On the website section, “order the box”, nothing needs to be changed, the questionnaire will pop after the box is selected. - In “here’s how it works” and “why the subscription box” sections, you get a questionnaire prompt and then you are led to the box purchase options - The survey/questionnaire information should be synced with the customer profile information (see module B) B) Setting Customer Profiles to enable Subscription Modification post Purchase: Create a functionality that allows registered customers to modify and customize their ongoing subscription orders and not have company employees adjust these requests for them. Step by step flows for module B: - Develop a user-friendly customer profile section within the Shopify website with all the relevant meta fields (the 7 basic questions asked in the questionnaire) - The customers should have the option to add another dog. - The profile information should be synced from the landing page survey (see module A) - Enable customers to view their existing order subscriptions and edit them so that the changes are edited at shopify backend automatically - Ensure seamless integration with our existing subscription management system
