Upgrade code and OS from Rhasberry pi1 to a rhasberry pi 2

I ahe auto loading code that boots on a pi1 to stream a webcam, I cant seem to control C or Z to break out and into the command window. I need someone to stop the code, run the sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade , make sure it loads then on a pi 2 and re image to code so I can put it onto the pi 2. i will supply the image file via google drive or dropbox. NOTE this is a per project cost, I cant pay by the hour but for an experienced coder with both a pi1 and a pi2 this may take minutes.
