We are looking for someone that can run a linux server (cloud or virtual ... from a UK provider ... you can recommend at the start). You must know about UK server providers and be able to offer 24/7 support (yourself or through a provider team). You would be paid on the basis of uptime and server reputation. The servers will have about 10-20 small sites. You would also be paid for updating Joomla sites (on a per site basis). You will need to work with members of our staff to maintain and excellent service for site users. Normal operation would be done by our staff through a control panel (one of the standard ones such as Plesk, c-panel etc.). It is not expected that you would need to spend more than a few hours a week monitoring the server and liaising with us. There would be agreed payments for specific work such as helping porting websites to the server etc.

I can provide a virtual server but the location is in a Romanian Data Centre Tier 3 specifications. My current bit is only for work and does not include the VPS server rent. I can work from 7:30pm London time and weekends can start in the afternoon from 3pm.
